Vijayakanth Biography
Born on August 25, 1952, in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India, Vijayaraj Alagarswami, better known as Vijayakanth, has made significant contributions to both the film industry and politics. He is a well-known actor and politician who also founded the Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) party. His career is diverse and spans different sectors including cinema and politics.
The initiation of Vijayakanth into the entertainment sphere occurred with his first appearance in Inikkum Ilamai in 1979. However, it was his role in the 1980 movie Sattam Oru Iruttarai that truly propelled him into the limelight.
